DC Studio’s is keeping the competition going with Marvel as a frenzy of superhero movies continues to be announced for the next four years.
Already “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” is set for released on March 25th, 2016 followed by “Suicide Squad” on August 5th. In 2017 “Wonder Woman” will be released June 3rd, and then in November will be “Justice League: Part One.”
As for 2018 the Flash will finally star in his own film on March 23rd. Though, assuming he appears in the “Justice League” films, this will not be his first movie appearance. Aquaman will also have his own movie that will hit theaters July 27th and will star Jason Momoa with director James Wan.
Now, 2019 will also be seeing a variety of superhero movies from DC Universe with “Shazam,” scheduled for release on April 5th. Already, there will be a sequel to “Justice League” coming out June 14th, 2019 and like its predecessors will be directed by Zack Snyder.
Finally the year 2020 will feature Cyborg a movie about a half-human, half-robot teenage superhero. It will be released April 3rd, followed by “Green Lantern Corps” on June 19th. Very little is known about this movie other than that it is a reboot after the 2011’s failed “Green Lantern.”
DC and Warner Bros Studio’s have a busy few years ahead, but it’s expected that even more will be announced for 2021 and on.
