Bridget Jones’s Baby officially has a release date set. The third sequel in romantic comedy trilogy will hit theaters on September 16, 2016.

Universal will be distributing the picture, which brings back original star Renée Zellweger as the young adventurous british woman who now unexpectedly is pregnant. it has been 11 years since the last Bridget Jones sequel over 14 years since the original film that garnered Zellweger her very first Oscar nomination. The series has become very popular with the first two pictures making more than $500 million combined worldwide, and it is still to this day Zellweger’s most popular role.

Despite Hugh Grant not returning, Colin Firth, will be reprising his role and joining the franchise will be none other than Patrick Dempsey.
