Yesterday photos were taken of several actors and musicians in an LA Studio shooting a scene for a movie. This movie according to TMZ is none other than the Straight Outta Compton sequel, Dogg Pound 4 Life thanks to these photos we now know who will be playing the notable rappers from Death Row Records in the movie. Playing the co-founders of Death Row, Suge Knight and rapper Dr Dre, will be Reggie Noble and Curtis Young (Dr Dre’s son) respectively. Playing Daz Dillinger will be Azad Arnaud, Dada will be playing Tupac, The Lady of Rage will be played by herself, and Kurupt by Melvin Jackson Jr.

The actors were filming a scene involving Daz, Knight and Pac in which the songs “Ambitionz Az a Ridah” and “I Ain’t Mad at Cha” are being recorded within a 24 hour period.

Rumors of a Straight Outta Compton sequel began not to long after the films success really took off. This new movie is set to focus solely on Death Row Records which was active from 1991-1996. The legendary Hip Hop label who signed many noteworthy rappers from the West Coast including Warren G and the still very much active Snoop Dogg, just to name a few. For those who did not watch Straight Outta Compton the movie highlighted Dr Dre’s leave of the group NWA and him starting up the label alongside Knight.

Dogg Pound 4 Life currently has no set release date.
