Actress Haley Bennet who was last seen in The Equalizer, has joined Emily Blunt and Rebecca Ferguson in The Girl on the Train. The story centers on a woman (Blunt) who is devastated by her recent divorce. She spends her days fantasizing about a seemingly perfect couple who live in a house that her train passes every day. Along the way, she becomes entangled in a mystery revolving around the married couple and another woman and all hell begins to break loose.
Bennett will be playing the role of the other woman Blunt’s character encounters while Ferguson plays the married woman. Tate Taylor will be directing, Marc Platt will produce the film, while Jared LeBoff will serve as the executive producer. Erin Cressida Wilson will be adapting the script. The Girl on the Train currently has no set release date.
