Derek Connolly, one of the co writers for Jurassic World, has been officially hired to touch up “some late minute work” on the script for Kong: Skull Island. This screenplay has been worked on by 3 other writers Max Borenstein of Godzilla, John Gatins of Flight, and Dan Gilroy of Nightcrawler. Kong: Skull Island is a prequel story that focuses on the mysterious Island that King Kong came from.

Starring in this picture is Tom Hiddleston and Brie Larson. Corey Hawkins from Straight Outta Compton has just been added to cast. Other castings are still going on right now and many names have been mentioned to join such as Russell Crowe, Samuel L Jackson, Tom Wilkinson, Toby Kebbell and John C Reilly.

Kong: Skull Island is directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts and will be released on March 10, 2017,
