DC’s “Wonder Woman” solo film is truly beginning to shape up. Gal Galdot will play the Amazonian Princess while Chris Pine is set to portray her lover Steve Trevor. Patty Jenkins will take up the directors position and Jason Fuchs will be writing the script. Now another addition has come on in terms of special effects. 2 time Oscar winning VFX supervisor Bill Westenhofer has been hired for the film. Westenhofer’s work includes Waterworld, Stuart Little, Men in Black II, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and the two films he won Oscars for The Golden Compass and Life of Pi.
Wonder Woman will especially be relying on CGI given that the film is delving into both magic and myth. Filming is set to begin shooting in the fall and the film will be officially released in November 2017, a year after Wonder Woman’s Debut in Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice.
