It looks as though a replacement has been found for Hugh Jackman who left the project Collateral Beauty some time ago. The man replacing him for the movie is none other than Suicide Squad star Will Smith. Smith will star alongside Rooney Mara in this drama about a New York advertising executive who suffers a deep, personal tragedy. Noticing his depression and how hard this incident hit him, Smith’s character’s colleagues decide to break him out of it with some unconventional methods.
Smith is currently shooting Suicide Squad but will next be seen in Concussion a drama that looks at Concussions in Professional Football. That picture comes out Christmas day.
Collateral Beauty will be directed by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon who also directed the critically hailed Me Earl and the Dying Girl. It has been rumored to also feature actor Jason Segel. The film is expected to be released sometime next year.
