Bond 25 is finally coming together!
After months of rumors and speculation, production details for Bond 25 have finally been released to the world. According to Deadline, Academy Award winning director Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours) will take the helm for 007’s next adventure, taking the reins from Sam Mendes who directed the last two adventures.
Along with the attachment of Boyle, Daniel Craig will be returning for one final time as the British secret agent. Annapurna will be taking over domestic distribution of the next film, while Universal will be taking on international distribution after Columbia Pictures lost the bidding war for the franchise after their contract was expired after 2015.
Production for Bond 25 will begin on December 3rd with a target release dates set for October in the UK and November in the US. Daniel Craig’s tenure as the agent on his Majesties Secret Service has been one of a roller coaster with having two critical darlings in both, ‘Casino Royale‘ and ‘Skyfall‘, while having a few misfires with ‘Quantum of Solace‘ and ‘Spectre‘.
Other than Craig no other casting announcements have been made but more details about the films plot and cast is expected to be released in the coming months.
Bond 25 will hit US theaters on November 3, 2019
