The Jungle is back!
Sony has released the very first trailer to the much anticipated film, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. The film will be a direct sequel to the 1995 classic, Jumanji that starred the late great Robin Williams, along with Bonnie Hunt and a young Kristen Dunst.
The sequel will follow four teenagers who receive detention together and together they discover a brand new version of the mysterious game in the form of a video game. When playing they discover a twist, instead of playing in our world they will play in the jungle of Jumanji.
The film stars Dwyane ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan will be playing the avatars of the actual characters within the game. The film will be directed by Jake Kasdan who is the son of the great Lawrence Kasdan who is hard at work right now on the Han Solo spin-off film.
As for ‘The Rock’ this will be his 3rd film in the year of 2017 alone after coming with this summers Baywatch and the hit film The Fate of the Furious, along with being the 2nd film both Hart and Johnson have starred in together following last years hit comedy, Central Intelligence.
The cast has said that this film will pay nods to Robin Williams who was the star of the original film and tragically past away a few years ago.
