Another actor is joining the cast of “Godzilla: King of the Monsters.“ According to Variety, actor O’Shea Jackson Jr. is in talks to become part of the sequel’s cast. Millie Bobby Brown, Kyle Chandler, and Vera Farmiga have already been cast as a family in the center of the plot.
It is unknown what role Jackson will be playing in the film. The actor is best known for “Strait Otta Compton” playing his father O’Shea Jackson aka Ice Cube. He will next be seen in “Ingrid Goes West” opposite to Aubrey Plaza and Elizabeth Olsen and “Den of Thieves” with Gerard Butler and Pablo Schreiber.
Michael Dougherty penned the script with Zach Shields and is directing the film. Warner Bros. and Legendary Picture are producing the film, which is part of its planned cinematic universe called MonsterVerse. March 22, 2018 is the release date for “Godzilla: King of the Monsters.”
