After action directors David Leitch and Chad Stahelski dropped out, Sony may have found a director for the upcoming Valient Comics adaption of “Bloodshot. During a panel at the Emerald City Comic-Con, screenwriter and Valiant comics writer Eric Heisserer and Valiant Entertainment CEO Dinesh Shamdasani announced that newcomer director Dave Wilson direct “Bloodshot.” Wilson will make his feature debut with this film.

Wilson is a partner owner of special effects studios Blur Studios with director Tim Miller. He is considered a leading director in special effects and video game commercials. He has directed numerous commercial pieces for “Halo” and “Titanfall 2.” Wilson also made a mini-movie for the MMORPG “Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Sony is also developing another Valiant property, “Harbinger, to be included in a cinematic universe. This will culminate in an Avengers-style crossover titled “Harbinger War” between Bloodshot and the students of Harbinger. Currently, “Bloodshot” has no release date set.
