A new actor has been added to the expanding cast for Fox’s “The Predator,” a remake of the classic alien action film from 1987. This time, Alfie Allen has signed on to co-star in the science-fiction film. Allen is most commonly known for his work on “Game of Thrones” where he plays Theon Greyjoy, as well as villain role in 2014’s “John Wick” with Keanu Reeves. In “The Predator,” he will play an ex-marine in a plot that has been kept mostly under wraps.
The film, which will be directed by Shane Black and was written by Fred Dekker. John Davis and Joel Silver will produce alongside original “Predator” producer Lawrence Gordon. Already lined up to star is Boyd Holbrook, as well as Jacob Tremblay, Trevante Rhodes, Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, and Keegan-Michael Key. “The Predator” is scheduled to hit theaters on February 9, 2018.
