Disney has just revealed the titled to the next Star Wars to sequel “The Force Awakens.“ The film will be titled “Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi.“ This titled is most likely reference to Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), whose new Jedi Order was decimated by his student and nephew Ben Solo aka Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and forced Luke into hiding. The film will be taking off from when “Force Awakens” ended, where Rey (Daisy Ridley) finds Luke and begins her training in with him.
The film will also see the return of John Boyega (Finn), Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron), Domhnall Gleeson (General Armitage Hux), Gwendoline Christie (Captain Phasma), Andy Serkis (Supreme Leader Snoke), Lupita Nyong’o (Maz Kanata), Billie Lourd (Lieutenant Kaydel Ko Connix) and the late Carrie Fisher as Leia Organa. It will also see Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern, and newcomer Kelly Marie Tran making their debut in a galaxy far, far away. Rian Johnson writes and directs the sequel. “Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi” will come out on December 15, 2017.
