The first trailer has dropped for Marvel and Sony‘s upcoming Spider-Man film, “Spider-Man: Homecoming.“ The trailer was revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live, just as Marvel had done previously. The trailer begins with Spider-Man aka Peter Parker (Tom Holland) stopping a robbery and cracking jokes on guys wearing Avengers masks. After stopping them, Spidey is amazed that this was possible.
The trailer then shifts to scenes of Peter in high school in class or hanging with his best friend Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon), gawking at popular girls like Liz Allen (Laura Harrier). There also scenes between Peter and Tony Stark aka Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and brief glimpses at the main villain, the Vulture aka Adrian Toomes (Michael Keaton). There is also brief scenes involving Spider-Man’s suit having wings, and brief shots of the mysterious love interest Michelle (Zendaya).
The film also see the return of Marisa Tomei as Aunt May and Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan. The movie will also feature Tony Revolori as Flash Thomson, Bokeem Woodbine as Herman Schultz aka the Shocker, Michael Churnus as Phineas Mason aka the Tinkerer, Angourie Rice as Betty Brandt, with Logan Marshall-Green and Donald Glover in mystery villain roles. Jon Watts is the director. “Spider-Man: Homecoming” comes out on July 7, 2017.
