Paramount Pictures has released a new teaser for “Transformers: The Last Knight, the fifth film in the Transformers franchise. In the trailer, Anthony Hopkin‘s character is narrating, saying that there is a reason why Transformers keep coming back to earth, and that there is a war between beings of flesh and beings of metal. Scenes of medieval knights shifts to scenes in the modern day, where there are ruins of a battle between the humans and the Transformers.

The trailer then introduces Isabella (Isabela Moner), a new central character wanting to fight. The trailer then shows the return of characters Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) of “Age of Extinction” and Lt. Colonel William Lennox (Josh Duhamel) from the first three films. The teaser then shows Autobot leader Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen) lost in space, and a planet-shaped Transformer, who may be iconic Transformers villain Unicron. The trailer then shows some actions scenes, with it ending with Optimus about to kill his comrade Bumblebee, saying “Forgive me.”

Michael Bay once again returns to direct this installment, with Matt HollowayArt Marcum, and Ken Nolan writing the script. Stanley Tucci and John Turturro will also be returning for the film. “Transformers: The Last Knight” will come to theaters on June 23, 2017.
