In 2012, “The Avengers“ had cast Tom Hiddleston as the film’s main villain Loki. Now, it looks like “Justice League” has found its actor to portray its main villain. The Wrap got the exclusive report that Irish actor Ciarán Hinds has been cast as the DC Comics film main villain, Steppenwolf. Hinds has reportedly finish his film sessiond in motion-capture for the flick. Along with this, the villain will hav an improved look than the one previous seen from meeting Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) on the Kryptonian ship in “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.“
Hinds is best known for his television roles as Julius Caesar in HBO‘s “Rome,“ Bud Hammond in USA‘s “Political Animals,“ and, most recently, as Mance Rayder in HBO’s “Game of Thrones.“ He has also had roles in films such as “Road to Perdition,“ “Munich,“ “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — Part 2,“ “The Woman in Black,“ “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy,“ and a small voice role in “Frozen.“ Hind’s future roles include playingAngelo Pazienza, father of Vinny Paz (Miles Teller) in “Bleed for This” and as father Father Valignano in Martin Scorsese‘s historical drama “Silence.“ He will also play real-life naval explorer John Franklin AMC‘s miniseries “The Terror,“ about Franklin’s lost expedition into the Arctic.
Zack Snyder directs the film, which also stars Ben Affleck (Batman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Jason Mamoa (Aquaman), Ezra Miller (the Flash), Ray Fisher (Cyborg), and Henry Cavill (Superman). “Justice League” will come out on November 17, 2017.
