The Accountant

An accountant finds a new person in his department and as he begins to close in on them, federal authorities begin to close in on his own activities. It was good, not as good as some of Ben Affleck’s recent films and the pacing’s a little off, but there’s a great cast. Affleck does a really good job playing this specific character. See it, it will definitely have some buzz during Oscar season

A group of people trying to cross the United States/Mexico border encounter a man who has taken border control duty into his own racist hands. Similar to The Most Dangerous Game, it’s very political. There really wasn’t a lot of character development except for the main character. It could have been a longer film. It’s well shot, but the writing could have been a lot better. However, it is enjoyable, so see it.

Max Steel

Based off an action figure, this film follows the adventures of teenager Max McGrath and his alien friend, Steel. This is a terrible movie and kind of embarrassing, so SKIP IT.
