That’s what the crew tried to answer today and some of the great qualities include:

  • a whistle
  • the music
  • an interesting western town
  • John Wayne and Clint Eastwood
  • A really good bad guy

Bill Nunn, the actor known for his role as “Radio Raheem” has passed away at the age of 62.


Disney has pulled a costume from the upcoming movie, Moana, from shelves after controversy that it includes brown face.

Governor Jerry Brown of California has signed a law that IMDb has to remove an actor’s age from his or her profile if they request to do so.


A movie based off the popular app Fruit Ninja is in the works.

The trailer for the film Passengers  has been released. Liv noticed the lack of chemistry between Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence.

Julia Roberts is set to star in the new true crime movie Framed as a PTA mom who was framed for drug possession.


There has been some controversy surrounding Transformers 5 and its use of Winston Churchill’s former home as a Nazi headquarters covered with swastikas.

Jake Gyllenhaal and Carey Mulligan are set to play the leads in the film, Wonderlife, following the story of a boy witnessing his parent’s marriage fall apart after his mom meets someone new.

The Israeli film, Sandstorm, is a nominee at the Oscars for best foreign film. This will be the first time an entirely Arabic movie will compete in this category.

I Am Not Madame Bovary has taken home the Golden Seashell, the most prestigious award at  the San Sebastian International Film Festival. The movie’s star, Fan Bingbing swiped the prize for best actress.



The Magnificent Seven

An Old West town comes together in order to stop a miner from destroying the city. Originally, Will had no interest in seeing but ended up really enjoying it. Patrick thought Chris Pratt did a better job than expected, but he wish he saw a little more of a villain. It felt like Western 101 and a very good modern day take on the genre.

Storks no longer deliver babies, but packages for a company, but when an order for a baby comes along as an error, the top delivery stork must deliver the baby. Though the marketing did not help the film at all and seemed cliché, but overall surprised Will. Anyone, parents, kids, could enjoy the film because it is kind of like Shrek.

A boy decides to attend the same college as his brother and eventually join the same fraternity. What happens during Hell Week will test their loyalty to each other as brothers. Nick Jonas, who usually shows so much charm shows depth in the film. Kaeli thought that James Franco’s appearance was a little odd and that he’s a little old to be doing roles like this. Patrick found it to be one of his favorite films of the year so far.
