A new trailer has dropped for “Fist Fight,“ a new film coming from Warner Bros. However, while this does sound like an epic fight between two awe-inspiring fighters, it will in fact be between mild-mannered English teacher Andy Campbell (Charlie Day) and his terrifying and unhinged colleague, Ron Strickland (Ice Cube).
On the last day before summer, Campbell is trying to survive the senior pranks, budget cuts, and the dysfunctional faculty that populate his high school. However, when Campbell unintentionally gets Strickland fired, the volatile teacher declares that he and Campbell will fight in the parking lot at the end of the day. Soon, the entire school hears about this, leading a flabbergasted and reasonable Campbell to try and avoid the fight at all costs.
The film also stars Tracy Morgan, Christina Hendricks, and Jillian Bell. It is directed by Richie Keen from a script by Van Robichaux and Evan Susser. “Fist Fight” comes out on February 17, 2017.
