Back in 1995, TriStar Pictures released the family adventure film “Jumanji.” Starring Robin Williams and Bonnie Hunt, the film followed an unfortunate group of people who stumble across a life threatening board game. The game wreaks havoc until one player reins victorious.
Now, the installment is back with a sequel to the original starring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Kevin Hart. Little details are known about the plot of the Jake Kasdan directed flick, but it’s said to be a continuation of the original film.Hart shared an Instagram from the cast’s first day of filming including a caption saying, “We had a amazing first day. The chemistry & energy of our cast & crew was beyond amazing!!!! This movie is going to be dope as hell.”
Johnson and Hart will share the screen with Jack Black and Karen Gillan. Johnson will be Dr. Smolder Bravestone, Hart is Moose Finbar, Gillan will be Ruby Roadhouse, and Black’s character is Professor Shelly Oberon. “Jumanji” is set to be released on July 28th, 2017 from Columbia Pictures.
