Despite only months away from its release, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them“ has added another cast member. The Hollywood Reporter has broken that actress Zoe Kravitz has been cast in the coming film. It is rumored that her role, currently unknown and small in this film, will be expanded in the sequel.
Kravitz, the daughter of musician Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet, has been a rising star since her breakout role as Angel Salvadore in “X-Men: First Class.“ Kravitz has also been featured as Christina in “The Divergent Series,“ Toast the Knowing in “Mad Max: Fury Road,“ and Nakia in “Dope.“ She will next appear as Roxxy in the crime-thriller “Vincent-N-Roxxy” and as Bonnie Carlson in the HBO comedy “Big Little Lies.“
Eddie Redmayne will be playing Magizoologist Newt Scamander, with Katherine Waterson (Porpentina Goldstein), Dan Fogler (Jacob Kowalski), Colin Ferrell (Percival Graves), Ezra Miller (Credence Barebone), Samantha Morton (Mary Lou Barebone), Ron Perlman (Gnarlack), and Jon Voight (Henry Shaw, Sr). David Yates directs the film from an original script by “Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling. “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” is set to come on November 18, 2016.
