It looks like Michael Keaton won’t be the only actor playing a supervillain. The Hollywood Reporter breaks that actor Logan Marshall-Green is in talks to play another villain in the upcoming “Spider-Man: Homecoming.“ Supposedly, his character will be working with Keaton’s main bad guy, who is supposedly one of Spider-Man’s very first supervillains, the Vulture. Meanwhile, Deadline has reported that actor Martin Starr has also just been cast in the film. His role is currently unknown.
Marshall-Green is best known for playing Charlie Holloway in Ridley Scott‘s “Alien” prequel, “Prometheus.“ His next projects are the war drama “Sand Castle” and the Cinemax tv series “Quarry.“ Currently, Starr is best know for playing Bertram Gilfoyle in HBO‘s computer comedy series “Silicon Valley.“ He also had other comedic roles in “Freaks and Geeks,” “Knocked Up,“ “This is the End,“ and the upcoming “Infinity Baby.”
The film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, while Marisa Tomei will play Peter’s aunt may. The cast also includes Zendaya, Tony Revolori, and a recently announced Donald Glover. The movie is directed by Jon Watts with a script by John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein. “Spider-Man: Homecoming” will come on July 7, 2016.
