E3, or the Electronic Entertainment Expo, has just revealed a behind-the-scene video for Ubisoft‘s upcoming video game adaption of “Assassin’s Creed.“ In it, star Michael Fassbender (Callum Lynch/Aguilar de Nerha) and director Justin Kurzel talk about the cinematic aspects that the game series displays and put into this film. There is also new footage that shows more of the past and modern setting of the film. There was also more footage of Sophia Rikkin (Marion Cotillard) interacting with both Callum and her father, Alan Rikkin (Jeremy Irons). They also introduced footage of characters Joseph Lynch (Brendan Gleeson) and Moussa (Michael K. Williams).
The film will also star Ariane Labed as Aguilar’s companion Maria, and is written by Bill College, Adam Cooper, and Michael Lesslie. It is also produced by Fassbender and Frank Marshall. “Assassin’s Creed” will release on December 21, 2016.
