How many times has Megatron “died” in the Transformers” franchise? Sources are saying 3. Well, 3 times were not enough, as Megatron will return to the Michael Bay franchise one more time for Transformers: The Last Knight.

Michael Bay announced that the devious Decepticon leader will return to try and take over the world, again. This leaves Optimus Prime to stop him, again. Forcing people like me to see one of these movies, again. Fantastic!

Megatron last appeared in Transformers: Dark of the Moon, where Optimus Prime cut off his head with an ax. Good luck explaining to fans how he will suddenly come back to life. In my opinion this is a last gasp from a dying franchise.

Is Megatron even a believable villain anymore? He has lost in each of his three previous attempts. Excuse me for using a wrestling simile, but if a wrestler challenges for the title and loses three times in a row, is it really smart to have him challenge for it again? Where is the money in that?

Michael Bay is just being lazy and I expect this film to be utter garbage. Nevertheless the film will come out on January 23rd, 2017 and will be Michael Bay’s last time making millions of dollars off of this franchise, apparently. Besides this film, another spin off Bumblebee movie and Transformers 6″ is also in the works.
