Move over Minions, some new animals are looking for audiences to fall in love with them. Illumination Studio has released a new trailer for their animated musical, “Sing.“ Illumination Studio is the studio that brought you the highly successful films of “Despicable Me,“ “Despicable Me 2,” and “Minions.“ This films takes place in world in which animals act as humans and they are able to sing. This seems to be Illumation take on an animated musical and after watching the trailer it seems as thought they got some very good singing and acting talent to the project.
“Sing” is centers on koala bear Buster Moon, played by Matthew McConaughey, who decides to hold a singing competition to help raise enough money to save his theater. Speaking of casts this films seems to have an all-star of a cast and yet a very interesting one as well. The very interesting cast stars, including McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Seth MacFarlane, John C. Reilly, Taron Egerton, Scarlett Johansson, Nick Kroll, and Tori Kelly.
The two stars that really very interesting to see here are that of Matthew McConaughey and Scarlett Johansson, its because audiences haven’t seem them in a role in which they are singing and it will be very interesting to hear how they sound vocally. “Sing” also comes out on December 21, 2016 which is also when another anticipated film comes out in the form of, “Assassins Creed.“ This will give families a film in which they can take all of their families to go see in theaters. This film is directed by Garth Jennings, who will be making a big leap into a major animated studio film.
Sing hits theaters on December 21, 2016
