Walt Disney Pictures has invited us to be their guests for a second time  for the live-action retelling of the Disney classic, “Beauty and the Beast. The trailer for the film, which is directed by Bill Condon, has just been released and gives a small glimpse of what to expect from this version of the beloved story.

According to the cast is as follows: “Emma Watson as Belle; Dan Stevens as the Beast; Luke Evans as Gaston; Oscar® winner Kevin Kline as Maurice, Belle’s father; Josh Gad as Lefou, Gaston’s long-suffering aide-de-camp; Golden Globe® nominee Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, the candelabra; Oscar nominee Stanley Tucci as Maestro Cadenza, the harpsichord; Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette, the feather duster; six-time Tony Award® winner Audra McDonald as Madame Garderobe, the wardrobe; Oscar nominee Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, the mantel clock; and two-time Academy Award® winner Emma Thompson as the teapot, Mrs. Potts.”

The movie trailer shows just a portion of Emma Watson as Belle and hints at the presence of the Beast. Also in the trailer snippets of the movies trademark sound track composed by Alan Menken can be heard, and for the live-action revival there will be new recordings of Menken’s original score, along with new original songs from Menken and Tom Rice. “Beauty and the Beast” will release in the U.S. on March 17, 2017.
