Despite have the most disliked video in Youtube history, a new trailer has been released for the upcoming all-female remake of “Ghostbusters.“ The film stars Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon and is directed by Paul Feig.
The trailer begins with a serious narration that explains how something will haunt people every night, and that no one should ever have to encounter this evil. Images of ghosts are shown. The male voice is then revealed, saying that the Ghostbusters team, consisting of Erin Gilbert (Wiig), Abby Yates (McCarthy), Jillian Holtzmann (McKinnon), and Patty Tolan (Jones) could handle it. This is then followed by shots of the Ghostbusters suiting up, working with tech, and capturing ghosts. There is also a lot more of Chris Hemsworth‘s secretary Kevin in the trailer. They also introduce Andy Garcia‘s New York Mayor and his assistant, played by Cecily Strong. The trailer also goes further into the plot, which involves a paranormal event that amplifies ghost activity and may cause the apocalypse.
The film is also rumored to have Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, and Sigourney Weaver reprise their roles from the previous “Ghostbuster” films. Also starring is Michael Kenneth Williams, Charles Dance, and Elizabeth Perkins. Feig wrote the script along with Katie Dippold.”Ghostbusters” is set for a release on July 15, 2016.
