The new Jumanji remake has now officially added Jack Black. One of the films stars Dwayne Johnson revealed this big casting on his Instagram page. For Black this marks a reunion between him and director Jake Kasdan who directed him in 2002’s “Orange County.” Although no details of his character have been revealed Johnson admitted that Black brings a “rare balance of cool with funny and edge with childlike joy.”
The film’s cast so far consist of Johnson, Black and also Kevin Hart. Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner serve as the writers while Van Allsburg will serve as a co producer. The new remake is set to hit theaters July 28th, 2017.
