Recently crowned Oscar winner Alicia Vikander has landed a leading role in a big Hollywood production. Variety reports that Vikander has been cast as Lara Croft in a reboot of the movie based off of the “Tomb Raider” video games.

These games were previously brought to the screen with Angelina Jolie in the lead role with “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider” in 2001 and “Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life” in 2003. Vikander has been remained busy since her Oscar win and just finished filming her role in another action film, “Jason Bourne” which is set to be released this July. The film, which is currently untitled, is being helmed by Norwegian director Roar Uthaug,
