“X-Men: Apocalypse” is less than a month away from hitting theaters and today’s final trailer release reveals more juicy details from the film and a special surprise at the end.

The trailer begins with Professor X relishing in the peaceful times of the world, however Raven/Mystique reassures him that even though their is peace now it doesn’t mean a war is not coming and that Apocalypse is on his way.

The trailer is supplied with many of the footage we have seen before, however it finally reveals that Professor X gets kidnapped by Apocalypse and his four horsemen (Psylocke, Angel, Storm and Magento) and he even tries to stop Magneto from joining them. All of this is what leads to Mystique taking over as leader of the young Mutants at his school.

Raven is shown gathering up Nightcrawler who she finds at a fight club where angel is also at. She then finds Quicksilver who drops the bombshell that Magneto is his father. Jubilee, Cyclops and Jean are later picked up as well in the action packed trailer.

The biggest surprise however is at the end when after a scene between Raven and young Scott Summers, a hand with claws adamantium claws appears meaning only one thing, Wolverine is set to make an appearance in the film. It has been rumored since the announcement of X-Men Apocalypse, that Hugh Jackman who plays Wolverine  may return for the the film and it now it seems that may finally be true.

“X-Men: Apocalypse” stars an ensemble cast that includes James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Evan Peters, Lucas Till, Olivia Munn, Alexandra Shipp, Ben Hardy, Kodi Smitt-Mcphee, Rose Byrne, Lana Candor, Josh Helman and as of now Hugh Jackman. It is directed by Bryan Singer and will be released May 27th
