Michael Keaton is back once again on a new role in “The Founder. This time, he plays business salesmen Ray Kroc, the man responsible for making McDonalds one of the largest and most popular fast food chains in the world.

The trailer shows how Kroc came across Mac and Dick McDonald (Nick Offerman and John Carroll Lynch) after several failed business sales. The two brothers had already been working in the restaurant they named after themselves and upon meeting Ray told him about their idea of making food in 30 seconds, not 30 minutes. Kroc begins to see the potential in this business venture and proposes that the restaurant be franchised everywhere.

Throughout the trailer we begin to see the origins of the restaurants look as well as its early years of success. However with every success story comes drama and we see how Ray came close a few times to having yet another business failure and even a failure with his own marriage.

“The Founder” is sure to be a unique biographical success story for audiences to view. John Lee Hancock of the Oscar nominated “The Blind Side” directs this film while Robert D Siegel serves as the writer.

Along with Micheal Keaton, Laura Dern, Patrick Wilson, Linda Cardellini and B.J Novak all star in the picture as well. Expect “The Founder” to hit theaters August 5th, 2016. Scroll down to check out the trailer
