Seems as though Mark Wahlberg will be joined by another up and coming actress for the next “Transformers” film. For the upcoming “Transformers 5, studios are looking at 14 year old Isabela Moner to star alongside the oscar nominee. Moner’s fame has been growing on Nickelodeon as she has starred in both “100 Things to Do Before High School” and the animated series “Dora and Friends: Into the City!.

As far as her role in the movie, Moner is set to play the role of Izabella, a crafty tomboy who grew up with no parents. According to reports “She counts a small Transformer as her only friend… until she meets Wahlberg’s heroic inventor Cade Yeager.”

Not much else plot wise has been revealed in regards to the film. Michael Bay will be returning to direct the ‘Transformers’ sequel, which will be executive produced by Steven Spielberg. Akiva Goldsman and Jeff Pinker serve as the writers while Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Don Murphy, and Tom DeSanto will produce. The film will hit theaters June 23, 2017 and production is set to start this summer out in Detroit.
