“The Kidnapping of Edgardo Mortara” is set to star Mark Rylance and will be directed by Steven Spielberg.
Mark Rylance was originally known for his work in British theatre before moving to the big screen. This is Mark Rylance’s third time collaborating with Spielberg, the first time being 2015’s “Bridge of Spies” which he won an Oscar for best supporting actor and the second time is in the upcoming animated Roald Dahl adaptation of “The BFG” which Rylance will voice over.
As of now Rylance is shooting in Christopher Nolan’s “Dunkirk,” while Spielberg is filming Ready Play One”, but the production of the movie is set to start in 2017, and will be released by Amblin Entertainment.
