Jake Gyllenhaal joins Ryan Reynolds and Rebecca Ferguson in the science fiction blockbuster, “Life.”

“Life” is to be directed by Daniel Espinosa, the director of “Safe House” and written by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese writers of “Deadpool.” The thriller will track a group of intergalactic space researchers who find life forms in a Mars sample.

Jake Gyllenhaal has starred in films such as “Southpaw” and “Nightcrawler”, while his next film “Demolition” is to be released this April 8th. Ryan Reynolds gained much notoriety from the movie “Deadpool” which made over 679 million dollars at the box office. Rebecca Ferguson got her big break last summer in “Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation.”

“Life” currently has no release date set as of yet.
