Have you found him yet? Because we did! Screenwriter Evan Goldberg and actor Seth Rogen are currently in the talks to create and produce a live action adaptation of “Where’s Waldo?” through Point Grey Pictures. Producer James Weaver will also be on board for the production department.
In 1987, the book series “Where’s Waldo?” was published and by illustrator Martin Hanford. Fast forward 29 years later, 2016, over 55 million books have been sold around the globe, and have been translated into more than 30 languages. “Where’s Waldo?” is also available on the iPhone and iPad as a game app.
Point Grey Pictures production credits include “The Disaster Artist” (as directed by James Franco), soon to be released “Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising,” “This Is the End,” and the highly controversial “The Interview.”
A release date for the film has yet to be confirmed.
