There are a lot of people who are worried about the threat of a World War III breaking out, Hollywood has a movie about this subject matter in the works, and Sam Raimi is set to direct. The film is an adaptation of “The Next Hundred Years” by George Friedman. In the book, a new Cold War commences and the United States and Russia are the two rival superpowers.

Sam Raimi became famous when he directed the low budget success of “Evil Dead” and the sequels which followed. In the early 2000’s Raimi did the “Spiderman” trilogy which starred Tobey Maguire and then the 2009 horror movie “Drag Me to Hell.” Action and horror movies are right up Sam Raimi’s ally so this new flick should be great.
