Paul Rudd and Steve Coogan are teaming up once again to bring another dramedy to the big screen. The two of them previously worked together in Our Idiot Brother in 2011. Their new film is called “An Ideal Home.”

The film will be directed by Andrew Fleming and will follow a troubled married couple with a different life. Coogan plays a celebrity and Rudd is his timid partner and sidekick. When Coogan’s grandson, whom he never knew existed, shows up at their home, the couple reluctantly decide to take him in.

Fleming penned the script and Gabriella Tana, Maria Theresa Arida, Maxime Remillard and Aaron Ryder are producing, while Clark Peterson and Lisa Wolofsky will executive produce.

Rudd’s stock rose to new heights when his last film, Ant-Man, made $500 million in the box office. Rudd is an actor who has been around for a long time and it seems that he is finally hitting his stride.

Coogan has two Oscar nominations under his belt for best film and best adapted screenplay for “Philomena.” He will next be seen with Richard Gere in “The Dinner.”

There isn’t much more information released for “An Ideal Home” so stay tuned.
