After a successful weekend with his new film “Deadpool,” Ryan Reynolds has already picked out his next project. It will be a science-fiction film titled “Life” and will reunite Reynolds with “Safe House” director Daniel Espinosa. “Deadpool” screenwriters Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese are also penning the script for the film. Rebecca Ferguson, the breakout star of last summer’s “Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation” is also cast for the movie. The specific details of the plot are still unknown at this time but it is reported to focus artificial intelligence as well as alien life on Mars.
David Ellison and Dana Goldberg of Skydance will be producing with Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn. “Life” will not be Reynold’s first post-“Deadpool” role as the actor is set to star in a couple films before it. He has been cast in “The Truth in Advertising” as well as “The Hitman’s Bodyguard” with Samuel L. Jackson and Gary Oldman. “Deadpool’s” sequel is also in the works already.
Life currently does not have a release date set.
