Channing Tatum who stars in the new Coen Brothers comedy “Hail Ceasar!” is about to team up with Joseph Gordon Levitt on a new R-rated musical comedy project. These two men have worked together before in the past on films such as 2005’s “Havoc” and 2008’s “Stop/Loss”. The plot is said to be focusing on two pilots who embark on a crazy adventure.
In the movie “Hail Ceasar!” Tatum delivers an old school style musical performance as he tap dances and sings for the first time on camera in one of the movie’s biggest highlights. Gordon Levitt is also no stranger to this as he has also performed a show stopping number in his hit film “500 Days of Summer”. He also sang on his Pivot network show, “Hitrecord on TV!” and even recreated a famous piano scene from “Big” in the comedy film “The Night Before.”
Michael Bacall is writing the script while Marc Platt, Adam Siegel, Channing Tatum, Reid Carolin, Peter Kiernan and Joseph Gordon-Levitt will all produce.
The movie currently has no director or other cast members as of yet and no release date.
