From advertising to espionage, English actor Jared Harris is joining Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard (“Inception” “The Dark Knight Rises”) in Robert Zemeckis’ upcoming period spy thriller.

Harris is known for playing the character Lane Pryce during his three season arc on AMC’s “Mad Men”. In addition, he starred in the 2015 film “The Man From U.N.C.L.E” and “Poltergeist”. His future projects include film, “The Last Face” which will be directed by Sean Penn and also be released later this year, and drama “Certain Women” (which recently premiered at the Sundance Film Festival).

Though Zemeckis’ film still goes without a title, this 1942 pic follows a spy (Pitt) and his growing love interest with a French agent (Cotillard) during a mission in North Africa. After falling in love and getting married, Pitt’s character later learns that his wife is a Nazi.

In addition to Zemeckis, Steve Starkey and Graham King (who first developed the project) will also produce the film, alongside with Steven Knight, Jack Rapke, Patrick McCormick and Denis O’Sullivan as executive producers. Knight is also wrote the screenplay for the film.

If this film has even half the success as the “Back to the Future” trilogies or “Cast Away” – which Zemeckis also directed – this upcoming spy film is sure to be a hit.

The movie starts production next week in Europe and is set to be released on Nov. 23 of this year.
