Macaulay Culkin, is set to star in “Adam Green’s Aladdin,” marking the actor’s first return to the silver screen in seven years.

According to “The Wrap,” the film’s set is made entirely out of paper maché, and uses newspapers, phone books and paint as the main artistic mediums. The film was also directed by Indie singer/songwriter Adam Green and was funded by a kickstarter campaign in 2014.

The movie takes an untraditional route as it follows Green’s own interpretation of the Aladdin Story, incorporating new characters and focusing on Aladdin’s dysfunctional family. The movie follows the family as they live in an American city ruled by a corrupt sultan with a socialite daughter.

Clucking will be playing  character named Ralph, and the film will also feature Green himself. other cast members include Alia Shawkat, Natasha Lyonne, Zoe Kravitz and Penn Badgley.

While the movie has officially been completed, according to IMDB, a release date has yet to be announced.
