Lauren Cohen of “The Walking Dead” has officially signed on to “All Eyez On Me,” a biopic about Tupac Shakur (or as you may know him- 2Pac).

Cohen will Joine fellow “The Walking Dead” cast-mate Danai Girira on the film as Leila Sternberg, a woman who was particularly influential in 2Pac’s life.

Sternberg’s main role in the film, and in Shakur’s life, is serving as the rapper’s business manager after the two met at a writing seminar she was holding. Sternberg immediately recognized the young man’s talents and mentored him throughout the duration of his career.

“All Eyez On Me” is a title derived from Shakur’s classic ’96 album of the same name, and the movie is set to chronicle his rise to fame. Demetrius Ship Jr. will star as the late rapper while Jamal Woolard reprises his role as the late NYC rapper The Notorious B.I.G. Also cast are Danai Girira, who will play Afeni Shakur, 2Pac’s mother, Jamie Hector who will play Mutulu Shakur, 2Pac’s stepfather and Kat Graham who will play Jada Pinknett Smith, one of 2Pac’s closest friends.

The film will be directed by Benny Boom and is set for release on November 18th.
