Kevin Zeegers has been announced as the latest addition to the cast of “478,” an upcoming thriller from director Elliott Lester that stars Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The screenplay for “478,” was penned by Javier Gullon and follows Viktor, a character who is set on avenging the death of his wife and child after they die in an airline accident. The film’s plot is based on the actual plane crash that happened in July of 2002 and the events that occurred  in the 478 days following the disaster.

While it has not been announced who Zeegers will be playing, the actor is known for his roles in films like “Dawn of the Dead” and “Transamerica,” as well as his work in television, having starred in Titanic: Blood and Steel” and “Gossip Girl.

Darren Aronofsky, Scott Franklin and Eric Watson will be in charge of production. The work’s finances are under the hands of Emmet Furla Oasis Films, and Lionsgate will be distributing “478.”

The production has begun in Columbus, Ohio last month, and while a concrete release date has not been set, “478” will be coming to theaters some time this year.
