Entertainment Weekly not only released the first look into “Doctor Strange: this week but also into next years mystery thriller “The Girl on the Train” starring Emily Blunt. The photos show Blunt in scenes that live up to the title of the film, she is shown on the train looking out in the window as well as coming off of it in a large crowd.
Blunt in the movie plays Rachel a lonely, British, alcoholic divorcee who uses her daily train rides as the time to fantasize about the seemingly perfect life of the couple she names “Jason and Jess” (Luke Evans and Hayley Bennett). She glimpses at them in their house every day when the train stops at the signal. One day, she witnesses something shocking during the train’s routine stop. unable to keep it to herself, Rachel tells the police what she knows and becomes unavoidably involved in what happens next, as well as in the lives of everyone else involved.
The film not only stars Blunt, Evans and Bennett but also Justin Theroux and Rebecca Ferguson of “Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation.” The film will hit theaters October 7, 2016.
