Mirren, who is represented by CAA, is being considered to fill the role of an actor hired to play a part in the plan, and David Frankel, the director behind “The Devil Wears Prada” and “Marley & Me” will direct the project.

The screenplay for “Collateral Beauty” was penned by Allan Loeb, and Palmstar Media and Likely Star are set to produce the film.

Mirren was also honored at the Gotham Awards for her work in the Holocaust Drama “Woman In Gold” and in Bryan Cranston’s “Trumbo.”
