After being teased with a clip and a few photos from set, the official trailer for Tom Hiddleston‘s “I Saw the Light” has been released.

The trailer that previous the film, a biopic of music legend Hank Williams, introduces us to the younger days of the country music singer as he sings in a club. Meanwhile, a man discusses how he met Williams, played by Hiddleston, and got him his first record deal. To top it off, Williams is then seen rejoicing over the news that he will be a father with his wife Audrey Sheppard Williams (Elizabeth Olson).

Based on the trailer, the film will explore not only his rise to stardom but his excessive drinking and womanizing as well, all of which effected his marriage greatly.

The trailer concludes with him singing the song “I saw the Light,” which was the inspiration for the title of the film.

The movie is set to be an adaptation of the book “Hank Williams: The Biography by Colin Escott, George Merritt, and William MacEwen. It was directed by Marc Abraham and is set for a March 25, 2016 release.
