Julianne Moore is set to star in Todd Haynes’ film adaptation of “Wonderstruck,” a movie based on Brian Selznick’s 2011 children’s book of the same name.

The story follows two deaf children, Rose, who lives in 1927 New Jersey, and Ben, who lives in 1977 Minnesota, and how their stories are connected.

Christine Vachon’s Killer Films is set to produce the film, which will be the second collaboration between Haynes and the company. The two also worked together in this year’s “Carol,” which starred Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara. Pam Koffler and John Sloss will also produce the film.

“Wonderstruck” will also be the third collaboration between Haynes and Moore, as the two previously worked together in “Far From Heaven” in 2003 and 1995’s “Safe” in 1995.

While it’s rumored that Haynes has already finished the screenplay for the film, no further details about the film have been released
