Bond is back and bigger than ever! The new 007 installment Spectre is a box office smash hit raking in a total of $80.4 million in its opening weekend, making this the biggest UK debut in history!
Although this is slated to be Daniel Craig’s last stint as the secret agent, the Bond franchise isn’t showing any signs of slowing down. That was made apparent in box offices globally as the film added a further $12.7 million to its haul across the Nordic region, while breaking new ground in Finland, Norway and Denmark for the biggest three day opening of all time with $4.2 million.
The 007 movies continue to make history as it also sent new IMAX record. Grabbing the highest per location in company history with $105,000 in 47 theaters. Also being the first franchise in history to cross $1 billion.
The film opens in theaters across the US on November 6th
