The Force is strong with Star Wars, especially with the release of the new trailer for Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. In it, audience members begin to learn who desert scrapper Rey (Daisy Ridley) and AWOL stormtrooper Finn (John Boyega) are and what motivates them. It shows main villain Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) talking to the melted helmet of Darth Vader, saying he is about to complete his task. It goes on to shots of Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew) as they tell Rey and Finn that all those ‘stories’ of the force are true. There are also shots of ace pilot Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), rebel leader Leia Organa (Carrie Fisher), and stormtrooper leader Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie). However, no other famous character like Jedi Master Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) or villains General Hux (Domhnall Gleeson) and Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis).

Along with the trailer’s release, preorders for tickets have gone on sale online for The Force Awakens. However, due to so many orders, that the website for AMC and Fandango have crashed. Thankfully, they are back up, but most tickets are sold out for the first showing. Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens will release December 17, 2015.
