After Ezra Miller was casted as DC’s The Flash, the hunt for a director began. DC has just announced their pick for the film’s director—Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter writer Seth Grahame- Smith.

He is currently in negotiations to direct the upcoming film, and if officially selected, he will be part of the DC world for the second time, after writing The Lego Batman Movie.

Grahame- Smith has also written the screenplay for Dark Shadows and episodes of MTV’s The Hard Times of RJ Berger, as well as directed two of its episodes. He will also write Beetlejuice 2 and produce the Gremlins remake.

The Flash will star Miller’s Barry Allen, a forensic scientist who accidentally is struck by lighting in his lab and develops super speed. Flash will be starring alongside other superhero favorites in Justice League: Part One.

The film is set to hit theaters on March 3, 2018.
